I’m thinking about friends who have never been promoted once in eleven years on their jobs, same salary but more bills to pay. I’m thinking about those who had it good but are dead now. I’m thinking about those who are having it good right now. I’m thinking about family who genuinely care and support one another. I’m thinking about family members who only want to take without giving or giving close to nothing. I’m thinking about amazing friends who seem to be heaven sent because they’re always there. I’m thinking about friendships that seemed to be real but turned out unreal or even too dramatic to deal. I’m thinking about church and how it can be a place of peace in times of trouble.
