Crushes

We've all had, presently have and will definitely still have crushes
I still remember my first crush vividly
I was in primary three at the time
He walked into my class with his very elder brother as he was coming to the class for the first time as a new student.
I couldn't take my eyes off him, he was the finest boy I had ever seen at the time.
He was dark, tall, very cute, his hairstyle was errrr, I think it's the one they call punk, he wore a blue jean and a long-sleeved striped shirt with a canvas to match.
My class teacher, Mrs Awe then told him to sit beside me. It was almost unbelievable, a whole me with this boy I couldn't take my eyes off, he was very charming.
As time went on, we grew very close. We did almost everything together except eating, everyone in class began to call us "my only, my only", I'm still laughing now as I'm reminiscing, it was a sweet experience until one day he just disappeared. I was worried but there was little or nothing I could do, no one knew where he was then I later discovered that he wrote his common entrance in primary three so he was in jss1 when I was in primary four, so his chapter closed there. I used to see him once in a while after that though and the feelings were still there, I even dreamt about getting married to him twice, well, that's that.

So my second crush, hmmmm, it was during my school's holiday coaching into a new class.i.e, jss3 to ss1. He wasn't a student of my school but he attended my school's coaching which was how we met. He was very cute, tall and had a very sexy smile and laugh. Could hardly stop staring at him although I tried my best to make sure he didn't notice. We eventually became friends and I realised looks could be deceiving most times because he wasn't the way I imagined.

Didn't have any other serious crush for some years until I entered the university. I was crushing on more than one person at the time soo no gist about it. I'm crushing on some people right now though but they're people I can hardly reach, let me tell you some, I'm crushing on Jason Derulo, I'm sure you know him, the super sexy tall dark guy with the amazing voice and there's Sam Smith, my love for him is hmmmMmm, I can't explain it myself, his voice is bliss, his voice has made me cry on many occasions.

There's just one lesson I've learned in all my crushing, and I think it applies to most of us. Most of the time, our crush isn't as sweet as we think he/she is but because we're smitten, we can hardly see our crushes for who they truly are which is why we should take our time to know them before making serious mistakes.

Tenderfoots just conclude that the feelings should be acted upon immediately the crush comes but it shouldn't be that way. The longest crush lasts 6 months, so I heard, if your crush lasts long enough, then it's probably time to act upon it. I should probably act on mine though but where can I find Sam Smith?, I'd let you know when I do.

Tout a l'heure.

I got to find out crush crashes. But girl you bad....at primary 3 you already know what man/crush/love is Lol. And you said he was carrying a punk hairstyle *mouth wide opened* at what century a beg.
Hope this is not a script or movie Lol

How I kill my crush is that I tell myself, its gonna die off and they won't meet up to my expectations cos they humans....most times crushes got some excesses we can't deal with...believe me I can't pardon such...so I put a dynamite and blow off the crush
Lol, I had more than one so I don't think the gist would end if I start
I knew punk maybe because of my brothers, its not a script, it's real!. All you said is very true, thank you.

Who Says There Are No Pervs In Church?

Dear OTTH readers, how are we? I spent my weekend resting and going through dorisaniunoh.blogspot.com, you know as a writer, one shouldn't depend on themselves, so every now and then, I go through other blogs because not only do I learn a lot from them, they also inspire me to write something. I love reading from Doris' blog because like me, she writes real life stuff, something I could actually relate to not how Davido got robbed and the likes. I've been meaning to write about this in a while but procrastination won't let me but today I have bound the spirit hence here it is. I'm certain we all know who a perv is but just incase we don't, perv is the shortform for the word "pervert" and it refers to someone who's sexually obsessed according to Google and that's about what it means so I guess we all get the picture and we'd understand better as we proceed. I've always thought pastors would at least act like pastors no matter the tempt...

Na From Clap, Dance Dey Start

Good morning my loves, welcome to 2016. This is our first post this year so I’m supposed to be very excited but the issue I want to discuss is not one that gives room for such excitement. Of course, I’m excited that you can read this right now, that you came all the way from 2015 into 2016. It wasn’t an easy trip but we’re all here finally. Thank you so much for your love. Now to the business of the day. In a world of women and men, yes I put women first because I’m a woman just in case you were wondering why or maybe you didn’t even notice, the fate of a woman depends on the woman not the man and this is no merlin line. I’m really hurt right now and I’m too hurt to not speak up. I’m not a romantic person for reasons I don’t know but for some reason I’m grateful for it. I’m saying this because I’ve seen what people call love in action and it makes me wonder if it really is love. I’m not going to dispute the fact that I’ve also made my mistakes, I mean, we all have our stupid moments ...

The Hustle Of Many Colors

We are all "hustlers" before we become "chillers" whether we want to admit it or not. Some of us are in the corporate world, some on the streets, some in market places and some are in places I can't name. Some of us are dressed in suits, some in rags, some are dressed casually while some are dressed in clothes I can't even classify under any of the aforementioned categories. When I see people put up pictures saying "Lord bless my hustle" or "Oluwa bless my hustle", I just say 'amen' on behalf of whoever put up the picture. I'm very emotional right now because I've seen hustle at its peak. I remember entering a bus somewhere, I was the only passenger in the bus. The conductor did everything possible to get more passengers but all his efforts proved abortive. The driver then said "sorry aunty, we no dey go, we no see passenger" and I had to go with another bus. I could see the disappointment on his face, I wished...
