Untitled

I didn't know what to title this so I titled it untitled. Don't get me wrong though, a couple of titles came to mind but I still couldn't pick a title. Should I have titled it "life happens" or "one of those things" or "be ready for anything"?. What led to this I'd rather not tell but yea, difficult times come, and do they go as fast as they come, in my own experience, NO.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not a sadist. There's been happy times, infact amazing memories I never want to let go of but there's also been difficult times and yes I must admit, they pass too. I'm not trying to be religious or anything but I just remembered a verse in the bible (don't know where exactly) but it talked about trials and tribulations being constant but that we should "be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world". Now I have my title but I won't change it still.
We all have problems, raise your hands if you don't. I don't see anyone raising their hands so yea, we all do have problems but the bible told us to be of good cheer no matter what we face because HE has overcome the world. When there's life, there's hope (another title but..). On a more serious note though, we should always be prepared for anything and I mean anything at all. You see, most times we can't see the signs, we can't tell what our sickness is from the symptoms we get, we just assume it normal or one of those things but have you tried being sensitive?
Sensitivity is very necessary but not compulsory, yes I said it so? Is it by force? Of course not but is it important? Yes it definitely is. Lack of sensitivity has built bridges in relationships, invincible bridges at that. Sensitivity allows you to 'see it coming', it'll enable you know when something isn't right but then again, we're human and can make mistakes. We make mistakes and that's why we can't tell what is and what is not sometimes, then life happens and bam! We're like "why is this happening?, what did I do to deserve this?" and many other similar questions we direct towards no one in particular but does it make the situation more bearable for us, of course not! It actually makes it worse.
I mean, questions should be asked but not those kind of questions. Questions like "how did it start before getting to this stage?, how can I rectify this?" should be asked but does it also reduce the impact of whatever situation is at hand, Errrrr not really but yes, it gives room for a way forward not just standing on one spot magnifying the situation and therefore expanding the problem. Inspite of whatever we face, we should always remember that HE never promised us that there would be no trials and tribulations but HE urged us to "be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world".
Sometimes, we don't deserve what happens to us, might be a test of our strength and even if we think we deserved it, no one is perfect which is why we should not dwell upon our trials and tribulations, we should instead "be of good cheer for I have overcome the world".

I'll just summarize all I have to say 'more often than not, each challenge we go through is just a necessary hurdle in the race of life, but only those whose endure to the end will be saved.... Go girl, it's was good, the best is yet to come. Great job.
It's true, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Thank you.

A soldier is drilled for war, tested, tried for the worst to come...most great battles are not even fought in the anticipated battlefield...any battle can be won from the beginning of drilling. The preparedness of oneself determines his wellness in handling any task. There is joy in victory however we should seek joy in developing ourselves and be happy at doing it.
Very true, we should just be prepared for the worst whether we expect it or now, Thank you Paul

Who Says There Are No Pervs In Church?

Dear OTTH readers, how are we? I spent my weekend resting and going through dorisaniunoh.blogspot.com, you know as a writer, one shouldn't depend on themselves, so every now and then, I go through other blogs because not only do I learn a lot from them, they also inspire me to write something. I love reading from Doris' blog because like me, she writes real life stuff, something I could actually relate to not how Davido got robbed and the likes. I've been meaning to write about this in a while but procrastination won't let me but today I have bound the spirit hence here it is. I'm certain we all know who a perv is but just incase we don't, perv is the shortform for the word "pervert" and it refers to someone who's sexually obsessed according to Google and that's about what it means so I guess we all get the picture and we'd understand better as we proceed. I've always thought pastors would at least act like pastors no matter the tempt...

Na From Clap, Dance Dey Start

Good morning my loves, welcome to 2016. This is our first post this year so I’m supposed to be very excited but the issue I want to discuss is not one that gives room for such excitement. Of course, I’m excited that you can read this right now, that you came all the way from 2015 into 2016. It wasn’t an easy trip but we’re all here finally. Thank you so much for your love. Now to the business of the day. In a world of women and men, yes I put women first because I’m a woman just in case you were wondering why or maybe you didn’t even notice, the fate of a woman depends on the woman not the man and this is no merlin line. I’m really hurt right now and I’m too hurt to not speak up. I’m not a romantic person for reasons I don’t know but for some reason I’m grateful for it. I’m saying this because I’ve seen what people call love in action and it makes me wonder if it really is love. I’m not going to dispute the fact that I’ve also made my mistakes, I mean, we all have our stupid moments ...

The Hustle Of Many Colors

We are all "hustlers" before we become "chillers" whether we want to admit it or not. Some of us are in the corporate world, some on the streets, some in market places and some are in places I can't name. Some of us are dressed in suits, some in rags, some are dressed casually while some are dressed in clothes I can't even classify under any of the aforementioned categories. When I see people put up pictures saying "Lord bless my hustle" or "Oluwa bless my hustle", I just say 'amen' on behalf of whoever put up the picture. I'm very emotional right now because I've seen hustle at its peak. I remember entering a bus somewhere, I was the only passenger in the bus. The conductor did everything possible to get more passengers but all his efforts proved abortive. The driver then said "sorry aunty, we no dey go, we no see passenger" and I had to go with another bus. I could see the disappointment on his face, I wished...
